The Vineyard Serenity Calendar has become an annual tradition on Martha’s Vineyard. 2000 were sold last year and $10,000 raised to fight addiction on the Island.
This year’s calendar is just as beautiful and raised $5000 for the Rising Tide Therapeutic Equestrian Center, and the work they do with autistic children and others with disabilities. It includes 16 months from September of 2017 through December of 2018. The calendar is oversized, on thick paper stock, and includes images voted on by over 30,000 people on Facebook. It includes my personal words of wisdom and encouragement.
The 2018 calendar is taking a 9 month hiatus to allow time for me to write and publish my next book. This year’s calendar runs through December of 2018. The 2019 version will start in September of 2019 and go through December of 2020. So I am taking 9 months off. I have 300 of the 2017-2018 calendars left. I am donating 100 or so to organizations on the Island that help people with mental health or substance use disorders.
The remainder are for sale as the “Vineyard Serenity Farewell Edition” that will include this photograph of the Oak Bluffs Pier in the coastal storm on Martha’s Vineyard from this winter. It inspires me to stay strong in the face of pounding seas. Despite the power of the ocean, there is immense beauty in the way the pier stands up to the forces of nature. This photograph will highlight an important essay in my new book. I would like you to have an 8×10 signed and matted print together with the calendar for the discounted price of $29.95. The regular price is $45. I will run the sale until the calendars are gone!
