The Clay Cliffs of Aquinnah are nothing less than majestic. Aquinnah is the home of the Wampanoag tribe and the cliffs are considered sacred. I personally find Moshup’s Beach at the base of the cliffs to be the geographic center of my personal connection with my higher power. The winter solitude together with the silence and power of the cliffs creates a source of energy and spirituality I have yet to find anywhere else. The Gay Head Light is on the endangered list and time is drawing close to move the light from it’s current location. These images have special value to me knowing change is constant and these captures will soon be history as Mother Nature wears on.
